Survivor Benefit

DPMA provides a survivor benefit payable immediately upon notification of the death of a DPMA member.

DPMA is a Voluntary Employees’ Beneficiary Association (VEBA) chartered in 2002 as a non-profit under IRS code 501(c)(9). Over 99% of Delta Air Lines pilots are members. Our mission is to deliver disability and survivorship benefits to the membership. To that goal, we have been serving the Delta pilot since 1943 in our tradition of “PILOTS HELPING PILOTS.“
